35th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes in Weatherford, Texas
WEATHERFORD, TX -- The Parker County Heritage Society presents its 35th Home Tour, Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce located in the old Santa Fe railroad depot located at 401 Fort Worth Highway just East of the Courthouse as well as at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, 1400 Texas Drive in Weatherford as well as online at www.parkercountyheritagesociety.com. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center at 1400 Texas Drive, the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce at 410 Fort Worth Highway or online at www.parkercountyheritagesociety.com. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the Doss Center on tour day.
“The venues on this year’s tour represent a wide variety of styles and vintages,” said Abby Hamessley chair of this year’s Candlelight Tour. “We have beautiful Victorians, a historic schoolhouse as well as a tiny house on tour this year,” she continued. “There’s truly something for everyone.”
Jamie Bodiford Brinkley President of the Heritage Society said, “Our committee has put together a great tour this year. I can’t wait to hear from each of the homeowners about the rich history of their home. And all of the tour proceeds benefit historic preservation projects around our area.
