Wayne Garrett is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner ® practitioner. He is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University. His further education includes numerous seminars in taxation, accounting, financial planning, and investments.
He is a partner with the local CPA firm of Snow, Garrett, and Company. Snow, Garrett has a staff of twenty-two to serve the needs of their clients.
In addition to his CPA and CFP ® licenses, Wayne holds various securities licenses through Linsco/Private Ledger, (member SIPC) including Series 6, Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63. He also holds a Texas Insurance license.
His practice consists of serving the income tax needs of individuals, partnerships and corporations. Wayne personally specializes in servicing the needs of small businesses and the self-employed.
Through working with the broker-dealer, Linsco/Private Ledger. headquartered in San Diego, CA, Wayne services approximately 1,100 investment clients. His work in the financial services area includes retirement and college planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
Wayne was recognized for six years as one of the top producers out of H.D. Vest’s 7,000 investment representatives before becoming associated with Linsco/Private Ledger. Since joining Linsco, he has also been recognized as a top producer.
In the past, he has been recognized in the Fort Worth Star Telegram as one of the area’s top certified financial practitioner professionals and was featured in Todd Mason’s Money Matters.
His professional associations include the American Institute of CPA’s, Texas Society of CPA’s, Fort Worth Chapter of CPA’s, the Financial Planning Association, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
In addition to his professional and business interests, Wayne is involved in several civic organizations, most of which he has held leadership roles, including the Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Weatherford ISD Education Foundation and the Texas Scholars program. His family is active at North Side Baptist Church where he has served on various committees and served as a Sunday school teacher and Chairman of the Deacons.
